Open categories
Lower-risk listings. A verified account, clear photos and an honest description are enough to post.

Verified seller categories
Medium-risk commerce. Verify your account, show the item from several angles, and keep payment on Mavunta.
Categories: Food & catering, Businesses, Items.

- Mavunta escrow recommended

Restricted categories
Higher-risk categories. Identity (KYC) verification and Mavunta escrow are required, and payments stay on Mavunta.

Not open for posting yet
These higher-risk categories are not open in the standard posting flow. As Mavunta rolls them out, they will require business or licence verification and manual review before anything goes live.
- Vehicles: Cars, Motorbikes, Logbook transfers.
- Property: Rentals, Land, House sales.
- Health & wellness: Pharmacy or clinic profiles (licence required), Supplements with health claims.
- Financial & professional services: Loans, Insurance, Legal or tax advice.
- Fundraisers & charities: Medical appeals, Cause fundraising.
- Events & tickets: High-demand concerts, Organiser verification needed.

Never allowed on Mavunta
These are blocked outright. Attempting to post them is rejected automatically and may lead to account action. Reporting them helps keep the marketplace safe.
- Weapons & explosives: Guns, Ammunition, Explosives.
- Illegal & prescription drugs: Recreational drugs, Prescription medicine from individuals.
- Stolen or counterfeit goods: Stolen phones, Fake branded items, Fake documents.
- Financial scams: Guaranteed-returns schemes, Ponzi or pyramid, "Double your money".
- Job scams: Pay-to-get-hired, Registration or training fees.
- Accounts & data: Selling accounts, Hacked logins, Personal-data lists, SIM-swap services.
- Adult & illegal services: Sexual services, Anything tied to trafficking.
- Wildlife contraband: Ivory, Rhino horn, Protected wildlife products.
