If anyone does any of the above in Mavunta’s name, it is a scam. Report it.

Already sent funds?

  1. 01Stop all contact with the scammer. Do not pay anything more, including "taxes" or "release fees".
  2. 02Secure your account: change your password, check your devices and sessions, and keep 2FA on.
  3. 03Save evidence: chats, phone numbers, wallet addresses, transaction hashes, and receipts.
  4. 04Report it to Mavunta below so our risk team can trace addresses and protect other users.
  5. 05Report to the police and your mobile money or bank provider as soon as possible.
Be careful with anyone offering to recover your crypto. Many “recovery experts” are scammers too. An upfront fee to recover funds is a second scam.

Report suspicious activity

Report a scam, a suspicious Mavunta account, a phishing link, or a fraudulent wallet address. Our risk team reviews every report; repeat-reported accounts face holds and review.

Verify official channels: Mavunta operates at mavunta.com. Support works inside the app and from official @mavunta.com email addresses, and will never contact you first on WhatsApp or Telegram asking for codes or payments.
